when i was little i was scared of everything

By means of news pieces of the ebola crisis that took place in Spain in the fall 2014, I explore issues of stigmatization and social rejection in order to look into human vulnerabilities. I investigate the struggle between the political and the personal body. I do so by using both events of public interest and thus available through news outlets as much as personal, familiar events and habits back in Spain. By doing so, I can maintain the connection to my home country while still trying to have audiences find themes they can relate to. I do not only talk about a physical displacement but about an emotional one that could happen anywhere in the world. That disconnection makes us vulnerable to a whole range of worries that make us lose perspective on the irrationality of fears.
